- Bots use the grapple. Advanced and expert bots hook up to ledges on their route and across long open stretches. They only fire when the hook will catch near where they're going, and let go once they arrive. In a grapple-only duel life every bot uses it, since it's the only way to move. A test checks that expert bots grapple (about 15 times in a 40 s match).
